Located just 12 miles from downtown Pinehurst, our home is the perfect getaway for golfers looking to spend the fall or spring testing out the hundreds of beautiful golf courses in and around the Pinehurst, NC area! It also makes a great lakefront retreat for those who couldn't care less about golf but may want to paddleboard, kayak, fish, and relax in the evening by the firepit! There is plenty to do in the Pinehurst/Southern Pines area for all ages...and there's plenty to do in and around our house as well! In the basement, you'll find endless entertainment including billiards, shuffleboard, ping-pong, air hockey, karaoke machine, and a "vintage" Nintendo with the best original games :) Just looking to relax? Hang out on the main level watching football or golf on TV, or enjoying your morning coffee or evening drink overlooking fabulous sunset views of the lake.
This home provides a comfortable stay for up to 18 guests. The second floor includes 2 bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and ensuite private bath. The main level hosts the owner's suite which has a king bed, and also has full and twin memory foam mattresses that can be pulled out for children/additional guests. The basement has a bedroom with king-sized bed-no windows for those who like to sleep late...It's the perfect room for our teenagers when we're there! There is also a bunk room in the basement featuring a king-sized bed as well as two twin-over-full bunk beds. There is a full bath in the basement for those two room's guests to share.
The newly renovated (2021) kitchen has ample counter/island space for entertaining, induction cooking, large farm sink & walk-in pantry. There are 3 refrigerators (kitchen/basement/garage) for your use. Pellet ice machine in laundry room is great for extra ice when we host large groups.
Large dining table seats 10 comfortably, & an additional dining table in the family room allows for seating of 5 more guests for meals/snack time.
Child-friendly with pack-n-play, high chair, child safety door knob covers for exterior doors leading to the lake. We have several children's life jackets & child-sized kayaks too!
